Job Summary
DeWitt Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Receptionist team supervisor to join our team. Our hospital is a busy multi doctor veterinary practice and we are looking for someone who is skilled and confident as a Reception Team Lead. Since this position is responsible for greeting and communicating with pet owners, and supervising and working alongside other memebers of the CSR team, the ideal candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
We need a reliable, responsible, trustworthy and above all, organized individual, for you will deal with the paper work, confidential medical charts, invoices and processes that keep the practice flowing efficiently. Accuracy, punctuality, compassion and consistency are also required.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Providing exceptional client service
- Oversight of the front desk team , greeting clients and directing the flow of traffic
- Making appointments, confirming those appointments, rescheduling as needed;
- Answering multiple phone lines, faxes and e-mail requests; screening calls, taking and relaying messages to and from other team members as appropriate;
- Educating clients about recommended disease preventives;
- Generating invoices and going over them with clients
- Processing payment for services rendered
- Preparing and keeping track of files, i.e., filing, knowing where to find files both when in and not in the filing cabinet;
