Experienced Tax Accountant
We are special a Public Accounting Tax firm and seek more special tax whizzes who want to collaborate with interesting clients in a growing firm known for its family atmosphere! We are a casual, fun-loving, fast-paced, excellence-driven full-service CPA firm located in Northbrook, Illinois. We specialize in tax preparations for individuals and companies.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns: 1040, 1120, 1065, and 1120S for a variety of individuals and companies.
- Use your excellent verbal and written communication skills to advise clients and develop your consultative style.
- Apply an integrated approach to the analysis of clients' needs; do so consistently and exceed their expectations.
- Get to the RIGHT answer; use your natural curiosity and knowledgeable colleagues to research complex federal and state tax issues.
- Periodically write up work using QuickBooks including General Ledger review. Respond to state and local sales tax notices as well as prepare federal and state tax returns.
Qualifications You Will Use:
- Four plus (4+) years of tax-related Public Accounting experience.
- Experience with EFTPS and My Tax Illinois website.
- Exceptional commitment to superior client service.
- Focused, calm, and team-driven work style; even under tight deadlines,
- Proficiency with applications such as Thompson Reuters software, QuickBooks (both desktop and online), UltraTax, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possession of CPA or EA license (A plus but not required).
