ABOUT THE POSITION
The Tasting Room Associate is a sales and customer service position focused on ensuring that all customers at our retail locations are provided with excellent customer service, an outstanding experience and are motivated to purchase our products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet guests who visit Coppercraft.
- Provide tastings of our products.
- Sell bottles to customers.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Coppercraft Distillery, Coppercraft (and related) Spirits and cocktails.
- Possess a basic knowledge of distilling industry.
- Ensure all customers meet age requirements to taste and/or purchase alcohol.
- Comply with all required cash drawer and cash handling procedures.
- Restock inventories as needed.
- Keep a clean work environment performing all cleaning and sanitizing practices throughout the Tasting Room, bathrooms, retail and common areas.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Creative and honest individuals required.
- Outgoing, fun and energetic personality.
- Customer service oriented.
- Enjoy learning new things.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to keep all areas organized, stocked and clean.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to take and follow direction.
- Reliable transportation with flexible hours (day and/or nights and weekends).
- Natural salesperson a plus.
- Flexible schedule.
- Passion for learning more about spirits preferred.
