- Perform tank and vessel cleaning which includes cleaning of the interiors of storage tanks to remove products or bottoms using shovels, squeegees, scrapers or other means as required.
- Utilize different types of equipment during the Tank Cleaning process may including, but not limited to PSI washer, wash down hoses, suctions and discharge hoses, pumps and high-pressure washer
- Current TWIC Card
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Acceptable Background Check
- Ability to understand and communicate in the English language
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time; bend, kneel and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects.
- Willingness to work in inclement weather situations.
- Willing to work other than scheduled times when needed to meet deadlines or ensure that daily work is completed.
- Pass required Drug Screens and Physicals
- Pass a Pulmonary Fit Test and wear proper respirator with no limitations
- Availability to work a variety of shifts when needed including nights, weekends and overtime as business needs dictate
- Ability to work in a refinery with loud, hazardous conditions, potentially hazardous chemicals and industrial settings.
- Working in various temperatures and outdoors in all
- Previous waste handling experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Strong safety focus.
- Valid driver's license, clean MVR
- Available to travel to different sites as needed
- Physical fitness for lifting and carrying.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced turnaround environment.
