About the Role
The Talent Recruiter is responsible for identifying and onboarding qualified linguists to join GLOBO’s Interpreting Team and the day-to-day operations of our on-demand services. This job involves constant linguist communication to ensure they are meeting our client's requirements.
- Please note - GLOBO is currently looking for candidates who can work standard/evening PST operating hours.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and select candidates for the Independent Contractor roles through active and passive sourcing
- Conduct interviews with Independent Contractors
- Negotiate competitive rates with Independent Contractors
- Maintain positive relationships with Interpreters once on-boarded with GLOBO
- Work closely with Quality Assurance and Scheduling/On-site Teams on new/existing hires and set them up in GLOBO’s platform
- Provide support for active interpreters in the form of address changes, credentials updates, etc.
- Communicate with Quality Assurance Team daily on new hires' engagement
- Pull reports/data/metrics for the weekly meetings
- Working closely with sales, scheduling/on-site team, and operations to scale the talent pool in sync with business needs
- Maintain an active presence on social media platforms
- Assist with a variety of administrative tasks related to processing new candidates
- Other duties as assigned

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
- Bilingual
- Recruitment background (full-cycle recruitment 3+ Years required) - Ideal candidates will have experience recruiting for contractor interpreters with experience in rate negotiations.
- Experience using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
- Passive/active sourcing techniques knowledge / Boolean searches skills
- Previous experience working with quota-based recruiting systems
- Language industry knowledge
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Experience with social media recruiting techniques
- Experience with traditional and non-traditional job board recruiting techniques
- Experience with Google Docs and Apple/Mac Operating System preferred
