Leveraging your extensive experience in recruitment and relationship building, you will develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies, build strong candidate pipelines, and ensure a seamless recruitment process from start to finish.

The Talent Acquisition Manager is based in our Charleston, South Carolina office. This position is hybrid with the individual working in office Tuesday-Thursday weekly. The successful candidate will have extensive experience recruiting and sourcing for corporate functional positions with a focus on IT and Finance.

About the Opportunity


We are seeking a Talent Acquisition/Recruiting Manager who will draw on extensive knowledge of talent acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, HR business partners and candidates (internal/external). S/he will have a strong background in talent attraction, sourcing methodologies, interview & selection practices. The individual will bring to the position experience in TA and Onboarding process management and improvements, understanding of traditional recruitment metrics and has a passion for lifelong learning.


In this position the incumbent must be agile, quickly adapting to changes in the workforce and their impacts, with excellent collaboration, communication, problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.


This position resides in our Charleston, South Carolina office working a hybrid schedule. In the office Tuesday through Thursday.


You will make an impact in the following ways:


  • Strategic Recruiting – Build and partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, branding, selection, and recruitment plans.
    • Design and execute an integrated recruiting strategy aligned with the company HR people strategy that offers a diversity playbook.
    • Recruit passive candidates and successfully profile evaluate technical expertise and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit for role and culture of Sonepar’s organization.
    • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with various sources of external talent. I.e., Associations, Diversity organizations, Universities, Community and Military channels.
  • Onboarding Management – Partner with Business Leaders, HR Business Partners, and Candidates to guide and manage the hiring and onboarding processes of New Associates.
    • Ensure all pre-boarding activities are successfully completed
    • Lead communications with Candidates and Managers through the recruitment & onboarding processes


What you will bring:


Education
- You have a bachelor degree in business administration, communications, or relevant education.

Experience - You have a minimum of 5 years of full lifecycle recruiting and sourcing experience for Corporate functional areas (IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Marketing/Communications, etc.).

Soft skills - You have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships.

Technical skills – You have experience with ATS (Success Factors), CRM (People Phenom), Sourcing platforms, Recruitment marketing tools, and other relevant HR technologies.
