Minimum Qualifications: Must currently be enrolled in a recognized and accredited Canadian post-secondary institution throughout the duration of the co-op term. You must also be returning to a post-secondary institution after the co-op term is completed. Depending on the needs and location of the team, you will need to work PST or MDT or relocate to a specific office (Vancouver or site-based)

We are seeking a driven individual with a keen eye for technical nuances in Talent Management to join our team. The successful candidate must possess outstanding problem-solving skills, demonstrate great attention to detail and superb interpersonal skills. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to join one of Canada's leading mining companies! For this position, we are specifically seeking students pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Management Information Systems, or related fields. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting performance management, succession planning, reporting, and more.

Responsibilities:
    • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.  
    • Provide support for performance management and succession planning programs, offering technical assistance in the HRIS system, SuccessFactors, and demonstrating proficiency in Power BI. 
    • Answer system related questions to a diverse audience.  
    • Closely partner with HRIS to support reporting capabilities, test system enhancements, and troubleshoot issues. 
    • Help develop visual and written communication materials for performance management and succession planning programs.  
    • Help to track and develop metrics for measuring effectiveness of Talent Management programs.  
    • Maintain and organize electronic filing system archival of all talent materials.  
    • Provide additional Talent Management Project support on key 2024 initiatives.  
Qualifications:
    • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Management Information Systems, or a related field.  
    • Excellent computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook  
    • Proficiency in PowerBI 
    • Proficiency in Adobe Suite is considered an asset. 
    • Self-motivated individual with exceptional interpersonal skills. 
    • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities with acute attention to detail. 
    • Outstanding written and oral communication skills to collaborate with internal and external collaborators using a 'customer centric' approach.  
    • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact, diplomacy, and discretion. 
    • Exceptional judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
