International Summer is a program that welcomes undergraduate and graduate students from partner universities worldwide.
The General Non-Degree Program supports students not enrolled in a degree or certificate program through GW but who want to take a class or participate in various special programs.
Assist with developing a plan for extracurricular programming across the Pre-College and International Summer programs to include social, cultural, personal and professional development opportunities
Develop and execute a plan to build community and promote physical, mental, and emotional safety amongst program participants
Date Range: February 5th- August 3rd. This position will be required to live on the Mount Vernon Campus during summer sessions I and II. Dining will be provided during summer sessions I and II.
The student will assist in the management and leading of special projects. Tasks may include: leading and organizing mid to large scale projects, designing project timelines and goals, performing research, coordinating with stakeholders and the project team, reporting updates and outcomes with project leaders, building and organizing leadership development programs for students, managing student staff. Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to specific departmental needs.
