Job Summary
Based at our headquarters in Roswell, GA, Imerys is seeking a Talent and HR Specialist to join our team. Your responsibilities will include identifying learning and development needs, and executing them efficiently. With a focus on fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you will collaborate closely with managers, engage in global learning initiatives, and ensure the quality of training programs. Additionally, you will provide vital HR support, including onboarding, exit procedures, and overseeing our internship program. RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Identifies and collects development/learning needs, with the PLT & the managers, and sets up a yearly training plan and budget.
- Executes & monitors the yearly training plan: Organizes and plans the training events, Maintains records of training & learning activities within the HCM Learning module and tracks the training KPI's.
- Organizes regular skills review and people assessments with the managers.
- Contributes to global L&D projects/initiatives.
- Actively participates in the global learning community with other Learning Leads.
- Promotes and implements global learning initiatives at the local level
- Monitors local training providers and instructors (internal & external trainers).
- Provides quality management of local training modules and ensures high quality in design and delivery by monitoring program effectiveness.
- Engages the appropriate organization/support needed for the development and execution of training programs.
- Engages the support of administrative staff for the room set-up, refreshment orders, vendor set-up, purchase requisitions and data entry into HCM LMS.
- Partners with commercial and other functional leaders to execute onboarding and exit tasks for employees.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Coordinate Internship program including career fairs, resume review and interview scheduling and events
- Acts as a point of contact for employees HR inquiries and general information requests as needed across different functions throughout the organization.
- Ensure maintenance of employee personnel records and reporting via HRIS systems.
- Provide HR generalist support as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in training, organizational development or human resources
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with a learning management system
- May have Professional Certification in Training and Development (PCTD)
