Position Summary:
Talent Acquisition Manager serves as a strategic partner for business leaders to identify talent needs, implement sourcing and scaling solutions, develop creative programs for diversity recruitment and guide the team to accomplish recruitment/hiring plans. The TA Manager will understand the business to help streamline inefficiencies, build customized hiring strategies, innovate, and differentiate the candidate experience, and act as a people first leader for recruitment team.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
• Develop and execute a Talent Acquisition strategy that aligns with Puttshack's growth objectives and cultural values.
• Manage performance of a team of internal & contract recruiters to create a steady pipeline of potential talent and ensure that the organization is recognized as an employer of choice among preferred candidates.
• Lead, coach, and manage the recruitment team to deliver against hiring targets within the agreed timelines; monitors and manages all team activity on a continuous basis, ensuring appropriate utilization of workloads across the team.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
• Develop and manage a reporting process (KPIs, metrics, and reporting methodologies) that creates transparency, effective communication, decision making and accountability relative to current and future needs.
• Partner with marketing and assist in the development of the employer branding strategy to create a steady pipeline of potential talent and ensure that the organization is recognized as an employer of choice among highly skilled candidates in the industry.
• Lead, augment, and form new partnerships with providers/forums and events that promote a diverse and inclusive pipeline of talent across levels and functions.
• Set talent attraction strategy and lead sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing efforts to attract and hire a strong, diverse talent pool.
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices, providing analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
• Collaborate within HR to develop processes that nurture internal and external talent pipelines for key positions.
• Responsible for recruitment of highly visible key strategic roles within the business.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Marketing, Human Resources or related field or equivalent Talent Acquisition/Human Resources experience, master's degree a plus.
• 7+ years of recruiting or equivalent business experience and at least 2+ years of experience leading teams in a start-up environment and managing within high volume hiring/staffing needs.
• Prior marketing, brand, and social media experience (preferably within hospitality or talent branding).
• Ability to influence, consult and collaborate at all levels of the organization across multiple departments and in all geographies.
• Experience leading in-house, geographically dispersed recruiting/sourcing teams.
• Strong ability in using data and analytics to develop insights and guide decisions.
• Self-starter with ability to follow-up and follow through and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exhibit a sense of urgency with a drive on providing quality results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, ATS and sourcing tools/ technology.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required (up to 40%).
• This position must pass a post-offer background.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• PHR or SHRM Certification
• Experience in a fast-paced and growing multi-unit organization.
