Job Description
We are searching for a driven director of Talent Acquisition to take over hiring, and onboarding for our company. In this role, you will enhance and develop the organization's ability to attract top talent. You will oversee the Talent Acquisition department and manage our National recruiters and other support staff, to ensure key roles are filled and maintain staffing levels.
- Overseeing sourcing, hiring, and employee acquisition processes.
- Monitor workforce planning efforts (forecasting, optimization of resources, partnership with CEO) to align organization's business strategy.
- Support Station leaders to ensure that each Station has the right skills and talent at the right time.
- Monitor financial implications of labor needs / changes and tracking adherence to the workforce plan.
- Partner with station leaders and hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Cultivating a culture of excellence and developing clear objectives for Talent Acquisition.
- Support holistic bench strength analysis and succession planning processes.
- Creating and proofing guidelines for hiring practices within the organization.
- Manage reporting, metrics, evaluations, logistics and infrastructure of Talent Acquisition initiatives, and assess the effectiveness and ROI through defined metrics and feedback.
- Building relationships with Stations leaders and stake holders across the company.
- Effectively allocate in-house and external resources to meet our hiring goals
- Create a tight feedback loop with the Human Resources team to ensure we hire talent that excels in SkyHop Global Culture.
- Producing regular reports on talent needs, acquisitions, and plans.
- Presenting hiring, talent, and employment-related reports to CEO
- A minimum of 5-7 year's experience working as a Talent Acquisition manager or head of Talent Acquisition.
- Experience in Transportation is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of hiring processes, skill development, and organizational analysis frameworks.
- Proficient at using software and leveraging technology for Talent Acquisition processes.
- A thorough understanding of state and federal legal processes, requirements, and legislation.
- Analytical mindset, and critical thinking abilities.
- Skilled at negotiation, presentation, and execution.
- Excellent at both verbal and written communication.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Meticulous, hard-working, and goal-driven.
