Job Description
Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development, and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Talent Acquisition coordinator.
Primary Objective of the Position:
Functions as the primary coordinator of all programs and offerings related to Talent Acquisition. Act as a “generalist” to ensure the details and logistics of Talent Acquisition are operationally sound. Expected to become a system expert on all technology utilized by Talent Acquisition, to streamline processes and provide enterprise-wide solutions to stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
Acts as the primary coordinator of Talent Acquisition services, including but not limited to:
- Implementation, training, and oversight of applicant tracking system, focused primarily on all hotel-level users.
- Coordinating with hiring leaders to identify staffing needs and candidate attributes, for job postings.
- Updating reports such as Management and Hourly open positions, analytical reports, and effective use of tools by GMs and others including but not limited to position audits
- Ensuring candidate communication and status are up-to-date and accurate.
- Lead role in posting positions
- When appropriate, backup to TAM for screening and interviewing
- Organizing and updating GM/DOS referral process.
- Researching and recommendations for new sources of active/passive of recruiting of candidates.
- Creating, revising and updating Job posting descriptions in the ATS system.
- Maintaining the candidate pipeline (tracking candidates that aren’t right for one role, but save for future roles)
- Provides support in planning and strategizing future workforce needs.
- Attend industry events as needed.
Involved in other Talent Team initiatives.
- Career fairs
- Creating and updating internal electronic career centers
- Visits to local hotels, on behalf of the talent team
- Marketing of the Talent team internally (e.g. Huddle) and externally (e.g. Website) to promote brand and services
Supportive Functions:
- Engages in recruiting efforts for the Management Development Program, and the Management Training Program, when appropriate
- Participates in coordinating the Annual Conference
- Organization, inventory, and ordering for the Hotel Equities Learning Center.
- Organizing, scheduling, and ordering for corporate meetings, breakfast, lunch and dinner functions.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Hotel experience a plus
- Experience using professional social networks (LinkedIn, Indeed etc)
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Computer skills to include, but not limited to Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel)
- Ability to learn new systems easily; and then facilitate training to others, on the systems
- Communication skills (written, oral, presentation)
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with little day-to-day supervision
- Ability to travel
- Ability to work in the Alpharetta office 5 days/week for first 90 days with the intent to work a hybrid schedule thereafter.
Physical Requirements: Standing, sitting, lifting up to 20 lbs.
