Position Summary:
The Associate Specialist identifies, evaluates and recommends qualified talent to hiring managers. This individual is responsible for managing the complete recruiting lifecycle and maintains excellent relationships with all stakeholders while achieving team and individual hiring goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruiting lifecycle consisting of: candidate identification, evaluation/assessment, offer, closing and administrative components of the process consistent with Athletico guidelines and policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Talent Acquisition operating procedures including sourcing plans.
- Identify and evaluate new recruiting tools/sources to find candidates and partner with local job groups to discover new pools of talent
- Evaluate resumes for appropriate skill levels, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
- Prescreen candidates with consistent use of interview guides while providing complete and accurate information to candidates about Athletico and the role.
- Use discretion to identify candidates with the soft skills and values aligned with Athletico's Greater Purpose.
- Educate hiring managers on recruiting best practices and system tools
- Communicate with candidates during the interview and hiring process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with active and passive candidates, as well as hiring managers.
- Gather post-interview feedback from interview teams and candidates.
- Review results of background checks and communicate issues accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manger interactions and other recruiting activities to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

- Ensure recruitment and employment activities are in compliance with government regulations
- Participate in departmental wide projects that enhance the team's productivity, efficiency and compliance
Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree
- 1 year of recruitment, sourcing or equivalent experience
