Job Summary:
The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant will partner with multiple business leaders to build proactive talent pipelines in support of the rapid growth within critical areas of our business. Positions of focus include client-facing roles primarily in Lockton's Commercial Property & Casualty / Risk Management practice. This is an exciting opportunity to help scale our Talent Acquisition team and contribute to Lockton's industry leading growth throughout the Midwest region.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage simultaneous, complex, high-priority searches, establishing deep understanding of role requirements and how to identify target profiles.
  • Partner with a variety of internal business leaders to gain a holistic understanding of our business, culture, growth plans and associated roles and how they all fit into our unique organization.
  • Build and expand talent pipelines through execution of tactical research, sourcing campaigns, and market mapping.
  • Review applications and screen for minimum requirements; assist with initial candidate screenings and/or interviews, as needed
  • Track, measure, and report on recruiting metrics (i.e. time-to-fill, source-of-hire, retention, etc.), to identify trends, evaluate success of recruitment strategies, and improve on the ability to achieve business goals.
  • Leverage sourcing expertise and relevant tools that deliver impact and support our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
  • Provide leadership and act as mentor and coach to other Talent Acquisition Associates within the Series or Midwest region.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years' experience in a Talent Acquisition role, preferably within a fast-paced professional services firm.
  • Track record for successfully researching, sourcing, and identifying elite mid-career to experienced-level talent.
  • Experience in a creative headhunting role within a competitive industry and labor market highly desirable.
  • Success utilizing data and analytics to optimize recruiting strategies, inform business hiring managers and senior leaders, and analyze market trends.
  • Direct experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and other Human Resource Management software.
  • Demonstrated presence and engagement on LinkedIn and other relevant business recruiting platforms.
  • Comfortable working with multiple business units throughout the Midwest seeking to fill highly technical consulting positions.
  • Data-driven and technically savvy with a background leveraging technology, applications, and social channels for sourcing various positions.
  • Previous insurance, consulting, professional services, or financial services industry experience preferred.
  • Outgoing professional who is adaptable, independent, self-starter, creative, resourceful, organized and naturally curious.
  • Ability to energize candidates and effectively promote Lockton as an employer of choice in the industry.
