The person in this position will deliver advanced level design and code using the Microsoft .NET Framework. Use agile methodologies and conduct code-reviews. Development of software solutions and systems including but not limited to services, service integration to UI and data, 3rd party integration, refactoring current applications. Integrate, test, and modify existing components and application modules produced by outside vendors, contractors, suppliers, or other entities so that these modules perform as designed in the agency environment. Investigate errors and problems within application components and modules, remediate and solve these issues, and communicate these solutions to application customers and users using specific application defect tracking methodology and software. Work with Project Management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions and projects. Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is located in the Office of Educator Services.A high school diploma and work experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software. An associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for the required work experience.An associate degree in computer system development and modification or experience in related area may be substituted for the required work experience.
