This position is located within the Office of Information Technology.
Under limited supervision, the Application Developer will work with Senior Application Developers to perform the writing, testing and documentation of complex agency computer programs. The Application Developer will develop and implement specialized programs to supplement and enhance systems software in the Administration Program areas. To include integration and monitoring of supporting backend system processes and solutions, documentation, and remediating and solving customer issues. Emphasis will be placed on Public Health Administration systems.
Work in a team environment to implement, maintain and provide technical support for administration applications as assigned. Provide technical backup for Administration applications as assigned. Ensures seamless system integration with agency solutions. Adheres to information technology application development standards.
Assist with integration and monitoring of supporting system processes, stored procedures, and third-party solutions. Remediate and solve customer reported issues.
Act as technical consultant to customers and work with other technology staff to ensure applications adhere to Information Technology application development standards. Assist with problem resolution and support the IT Service Center by responding to application-related service calls.
Prepare and maintain system documentation for applications supported. Provide appropriate administrative documentation/project communication.
