Systems / Network Support Engineer
Location; Compton, CA (Hybrid - work from home / dispatch to clients as needed estimated 3-5 times per week)
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Systems / Network Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to clients of the managed service provider (MSP) company. This includes responding to on-site help desk tickets, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and implementing solutions to resolve problems. Immediate opening for individuals to join a growing IT managed services firm.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of experience in IT support role – preferably with an MSP.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications, including Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365.
- General desktop and application troubleshooting. The qualified candidate will have skills in the following:
- Desktop support experience, Windows 10, Mac OS
- Network printing / scanning
- Mobile / smart device experience
- Configuration to Exchange / Office 365
- Experience with supporting / configuring servers – VMware / Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure / routers and troubleshooting tools.
- Possess relevant industry certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft MCSA / MCSE, are a plus.
- Experience with ConnectWise, Autotask, Kaseya, or any other MSP-centric tools preferred.
- Project Management skills / experience – big plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience documenting technical procedures and creating knowledge base articles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Live in a location that is easily accessible to the West Side of Los Angeles.
- Able to drive to various clients within 25 miles of Los Angeles - North Orange County 3-5 times a week. Mostly from Santa Monica to City of Commerce to Long Beach Region, for LA technician.
- Reliable transportation to travel between client sites (mileage expense will be reimbursed).
- Work from home, dispatch to client as needed. Company vehicle or reimbursement will be provided. Must possess clean driving record.
