Description:
The System Analyst is responsible for understanding the ERP data model, Analytics Data Model and other external data sources which must integrate with the system. This person is responsible for ensuring data accuracy and quality for integration and reporting purposes. They will assist with data cleansing and data migration tasks and be the subject matter expert for sourcing data needed for data integration and interface functionality. This person will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
- Develops and maintains MMIS databases to include Lawson, Omnicell and other MMIS databases as required. Includes oversight of Item Masters for all PeopleSoft and Omnicell databases, to include ensuring accuracy and integrity of databases. May include: Managing requester database, EDI managoement, Microsoft
- Add-In utilities, managing auto-fax tools, Supply Chain/Accounts Payable issues and various Crystal reports.
- Analyze areas of constraint or concern in Procurement Systems.
- Develop solutions and implement same for required application enhancements. Includes, but is not limited to, developing work around processes as needed through analyzing problem scenarios. May include: managing PeopleSoft
Reporting, analysis around PeopleSoft Supply Chain modules and Lawson
testing of upgrades. - Provide Analytic support to other Supply Chain division as well as
assisting personnel, internal and external to the department, with the
functionality of the systems and interpretation of the data. - Provide support and ad hoc reports for LUHS management.
- Lead and participate on work teams as appropriate/necessary to support the ongoing department needs.
