CACI’s EITaaS Program is a Department of the Air Force initiative, which includes the Air Force and Space Force. EITaaS will transform the Dept. of the Air Force IT services from an in-house, base-centric delivery model to an advanced enterprise service delivery model. CACI will provide an enhanced IT management system, IT storefront, enterprise help desk, local field services, and life cycle support for end-user devices.

CACI’s innovative approach to enterprise technology infuses contemporary technologies with industry best practices to deliver commercial-style services that will improve customer experience and productivity for the Dept. of the Air Force’s global workforce. CACI and its partners will equip Airmen and Guardians with state-of-the-art services and automated capabilities that enable access to the tools they need to perform their mission efficiently and effectively when they need it, where they need it.

What You’ll Get to Do:

Provide analysis, design, development, and integration of hardware, software, human-machine interfaces, and all system level requirements and functional objectives to provide an integrated EIT solution while considering the limitations imposed by practicality, regulation, safety, and cost. Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices, and systems.

Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluating and installing patches and resolve software related problems. Perform system backups and recovery. Maintain data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.

A technical “Jack of all Trades”, with motivating skills in Windows,

  • Linux and Azure ecosystems. You might be intelligent in one or more things, or not, but you’re able to rapidly learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies that you will encounter here.
  • You’re Not just “dashboard admin” – in other words, you need to understand “why things work the way they do”.
  • Function as a member of a small engineering/programming team tasked with developing, deploying and maintaining a multi-tenant, multi-platform, infrastructure.
  • The ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues to share knowledge and insight.
  • Strong, upbeat, fun personalities will become part of the high-tech team that is already there to support you – as you help to support them.
  • We are focusing on candidates experienced with automated process development, engineering and operations. Linux, Windows, Active Directory, and ADFS integration are a strong plus. If you have extensive experience in all these areas or variations, perfect.
  • Participate in the internal Engineering Review process.
  • Participate in technical cross-training within the team.

  • Ability to innovate and stay up to date on cutting edge tools and technologies, creating new ways to protect data and communicate or secure information utilizing custom or open-source designs.

  • You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be successfully in obtain to a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance and pass all relevant background checks for a security clearance. Active DoD clearance preferred, but not required.
  • University Degree (BS), or equivalent 5 years of related experience, and additionally 1+ years of related IT engineering experience required.
  • 1+ years’ cumulative experience or knowledge with securing systems by following government/compliance requirements (such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-27, NIST 800-137, FISMA, FEDRAMP, STIG).
  • 1+ years’ cumulative experience with systems administration in Windows Server, Azure or Linux.
  • 1+ years’ cumulative experience with servers, network devices and data center protocols (i.e., installing, maintaining, accessing).
  • 1+ years’ cumulative experience with customer (internal or external).
  • interactions, including presenting, answering questions, proactively resolving issues.
  • 1+ years’ cumulative experience working within a VMWare environment.
  • 1+ years’ cumulative experience or knowledge with Agile/Kanban, ITIL, or Git/GitHub.
  • 1+ years’ cumulative experience or knowledge creating and analyzing PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, JAVA based, YAML and/or Python scripts – basically you need to know how to connect things for automation needs.
  • 1 or more Relevant Technical and/or Security Certifications (e.g., Network +, Security+, Microsoft, AWS, VMware, CISSP, CCNA, CCDA, CCNA-Security, etc.) – if you do not have, you will probably be asked to obtain one or more once you start. Are you motivated enough!?!
  • Cybersecurity knowledge and ability to apply to everyday IT situations.

  • These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • 1+ years’ cumulative experience with log management, network firewalls, and testing. (Being able to track down the root cause of a service/application failure through the use of logs and CLI-based tools (Log-based Analysis, not just guessing)).
  • 2+ years’ cumulative experience with enhance data protection and compliance (such as OpenSSL, Keystores, Azure Key Vault, Cyphers).
  • 2+ years’ cumulative experience with ServiceNow, DevOps, Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines and Azure Repos a major plus (otherwise you will be expected to learn these things soon and fast).
  • 2+ years’ cumulative experience integrating, securing, and understanding the following Microsoft platform services (both in Windows OS and in Azure Cloud): Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS), Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS), Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS), Windows AD-integrated PKI, Single Sign On (SSO) implementation.
  • One (1) of the following certifications: Azure DevOps Engineering Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • 2+ years’ recent (within the past 3 years) cumulative experience with Azure Cloud Computing.
  • Some experience with any or all of these products or technologies: MS SQL, Red Hat Satellite, IPSEC, SCCM, MDM solutions
  • Technical degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related subject area (or actively obtaining, within 1 year of graduation)
