Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will manage a computer and network enclave and ensure the integration
of IT programs and services; developing solutions to integration/interoperability issues; designing, developing, trouble shooting, and managing IT security systems at our JEB Little Creek, VA and Norfolk Naval Base location.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with network architects to develop solutions for integration/interoperability with
• other networks.
• Collaborating with network architects to build and maintain servers and optimize network performance.
• Generating and running simulation models for future applications and evaluating and verifying impacts on the current and planned enclave IT architecture.
• Developing and presenting plans for integrating new server technology into existing enclave architecture.
• Maintain processes and procedures, while adhering to established policies.
• Monitor new complex systems.
• Configure and install systems hardware or software and maintain server and domain security requirements.
• System administration functions on both Windows Enterprise Server and RedHat Enterprise Linux Server operation system platforms.
• Collaborating with network architects to develop solutions for integration/interoperability with other networks.
• Planning and coordinating the installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade of enclave management software and related enclave-level
• changes to the systems infrastructure.
• Spotting inefficiencies in an organization's computer network and making recommendations to address weaknesses.
• Performing routine network audits.
• Troubleshooting issues with the enclaves network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and other network segments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable mandates and policies.
• Apply DoD and OEM Cybersecurity Best Practices and conduct post configuration System functionality analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT and 4+ years of experience; Additional experience may substitute for degree
• Active Secret clearance - preferred with SSBI.
• Certified Network and Server Administrator Certification; Linux Certification;
• Windows10 Certification; Server 2016 Certification
• Knowledge of Microsoft System Administration and/or Linux Administration
• Candidate must possess an active DOD Secret level security clearance upon hire.
• Knowledge of unmanned systems networks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• IAT Level III Certification (e.g. CISSP or equivalent)
