QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Associate degree from accredited college/university in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- Three (3) years of professional experience in systems administration.
- Have three (3) years’ experience administering a VMware Virtual Environment, which should include extensive knowledge of and experience with installation, configuration, and integration, backups, troubleshooting and problem resolution for servers associated with a VMware Virtual Infrastructure such as ESXi and vCenter Servers.
- Configure new virtual machines (VM’s) and Windows Server Operating experience.
- IAT Level II - CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP
- Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Must be U.S. Citizen
- Working knowledge of the Naval Sea System Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, and Fleet organizations is desired.
- Attending mandatory, annual training sessions
- Providing regular status reports to management summarizing progress, challenges, metrics, and recommendations
- Collaborating with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Attending recurring team meetings or huddles
- Assisting in the development of new initiatives
