Job Summary
The Systems Administrator provides direct support to the business and team members for IT system related issues. Receives support requests and prioritizes requests to ensure full customer satisfaction. Collaborates with internal team members and vendors to implement and maintain bank hardware and software, resolve issues with bank systems and applications, and assist in executing the overall IT strategy.
Job Responsibilities
- User security management including enrollment and maintenance for several network and banking applications.
- Application administration including configuration, implementation, and maintenance.
- Administer users and maintain voice connectivity, conferencing, and collaboration solutions.
- Provide superior quality and service. Respond promptly and courteously. Prioritize requests according to criticality. Identify timely and accurate solutions to technical issues.
- Provide administration, support, and maintenance for IT hardware and software systems.
- Maintain MS Active Directory accounts, Group Policies, and security management.
- Assist in the selection of new hardware and software platforms.
- Work with managed services partners and service providers to ensure appropriate prioritization for support requests, scheduled maintenance, and upgrades.
- Responsible for maintaining security solutions on IT systems.
- Document all standards and procedures.
- Document all support activities in ticket tracking database.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or similar field preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and Office products.
- Can do attitude with an eagerness to learn.
- Precise attention to detail, high level of organization.
- Ability to independently manage the details of multiple projects, to track activities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of information security risks and protocols.
- Knowledge of enterprise wired and wireless network technologies.
- Ability to learn new information and effectively share with others.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment
- Typical office hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, however, must have the ability to work extra hours, different hours, or staggered hours as determined by the workload and expectations.
- Minimal travel.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to move throughout the office.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
