Summary

As part of a diverse and skilled Managed Services team, you will be tasked customer-facing technical generalist. This position works under the leadership of the Managed Services Manager and in collaboration with other teammates across the company.
Knowledge and Skills

- An in-depth understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services
- Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities

- Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, configure, deploy, and maintain applications, servers, storage, and network solutions
- Application subject matter expert
- Technical lead for internal and customer facing projects
- Escalation point for desktop and helpdesk support efforts
- Participate in assessments, project planning, and customer meetings
- Research upcoming products, service protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts.
- Maintain and update documentation
- Participate in rapid response to system outages
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues for backups, remote access, and connectivity
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
- 3+ years working with Windows servers
- 2+ years’ experience working with RMM tools
- 5+ years IT support experience desired
- 3+ years demonstrating best-in-class customer service
- Demonstrated willingness and acceptance of change
- Understanding of three or more of the following technologies: Hyper-V, VMware, Endpoint Management, Active Directory, RDS, Exchange or Microsoft 365, RSA/2FA/Etc
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, usually waist high, up to 50 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
