We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator to join BGBC’s Shared Services department, which consists of our Marketing, Recruiting, Training & Development, Operations, Information Technology, and Administrative Support professionals.
As the Systems Administrator, you will be focused on all aspects of managing our cloud network and Office 365. Importantly, we are looking for a team member who will assist in providing creative ways to solve problems, explore new technologies and interact with all level of employees across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Systems Administrator, you should expect to perform the following:
• Provide leadership and guidance to BGBC’s IT Coordinator (direct report).
• Manage and participate directly in the set-up and maintenance of Office 365 accounts for employees (onboarding new hires, troubleshooting existing as needed).
• Provide help desk and remote support for internal team members.
• Manage the firm’s third-party vendors, including our cloud managed service provider.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and present recommendations to the firm’s leaders.
• Support the use of video conferencing applications and related A/V tools.
• Participate in and coordinate routine risk assessments and network evaluations.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience working in Information Technology.
• Working knowledge of cloud network design and architecture.
• Experience administering Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience working with third-party vendors, including a cloud managed service provider.
• Experience with windows domain management including active directory and group policies.
• Ability to assess new technologies and develop business case recommendations.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical co-workers.
• Demonstrated customer service approach.
• Exhibit effective time management, conflict management, and detail-oriented skills.
• Availability to work off business hours as needed, providing support and ensuring project deadlines are adhered to.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft certifications are preferred.
