Systems Administrator

The Systems Administrator position provides high level IT support, assistance and troubleshooting through remote desktop platforms. This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment and maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, customer service, communication, organization and ethics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installation, configuration and maintenance:
• Servers
• Switches
• Firewalls
• Endpoints
• Cloud solutions including Office 365
• Virtual Infrastructure
• Backup Solutions
• Anti-virus / Malware protection
• IT assistance and troubleshooting – remote
• Collaboration with clients and internal departments
• Mentoring others
• Other duties as assigned

Education, Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in computer/technical related field or related experience listed below
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience with one or more of the following
• Configuration, Installation and troubleshooting of routers, switches and firewalls (Cisco preferred)
• Microsoft OS for servers and workstations
• Email servers, ISPs, network monitoring tools and TCP/IP protocols
• Virtualization Infrastructure
• Experience configuring Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, VPN, ACLs and firewalls
• Experience configuring virtual environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and storage
• Experience with backup solutions, replication and retention policies including disaster recovery planning
• Experience with security and anti-virus/anti-malware solutions
• Microsoft Office knowledge required
• Certifications (CompTIA, Barracuda, etc.) required or the ability to obtain within six months of hire
• Advanced certifications (Cisco, Microsoft) a plus
• Current state issued driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation and proof of valid auto insurance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
