Form of workPosition Summary: The System Analyst provides analytical, technical, and implementation support of our world class Epic EHR with a primary focus on our Ambulatory applications. System analysts are responsible for implementing system upgrades, building requested enhancements to the system and any related third-party applications, testing, maintenance, as well as having a working knowledge of Cogito's reporting capabilities, plus assisting with resolution of end-user issues.
The individual hired will need to obtain Epic certification within 6 months of hire.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of an EHR and clinical workflows in an ambulatory setting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to communicate effectively with clinical staff, IT staff, administrators and other stakeholders
- Strong people skills
- Skilled collaborator
- Have strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Current Epic certification or the ability to successfully complete and maintain certification
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, computer science, mathematics, health informatics, public health, any natural science or related discipline or relevant healthcare experience
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
