Job description
Lead the design and engineering of strong technical foundations across traffic & incidents processing, route planning, and navigation services. Create new technical capabilities that serve as building blocks for new and improved features that surprise and delight our customers. Take responsibility for improving the quality of our existing offering across all modes of transportation (driving, transit, walking, cycling, and mixed modalities). Lead the iterative and data-driven research and exploration of new approaches for existing or new areas of consideration. Lead the investigation and resolution of high product impact issues. Work across multiple engineering, HI and product teams to help set the future direction of the product. Communicate timelines and set expectations with others under uncertainty. Mentor and advise junior as well as other senior coworkers on the best next step taken in explorations and when to try something new.
