ADVANCED DISTRIBUTOR PRODUCTS COMPANY INFORMATION

Advanced Distributor Products (ADP) started with a vision to produce the best evaporator coils in the country. In 1992, ADP began production in a 30,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Grenada, Mississippi. Within just a few years, the small coil operation grew into a 379,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility that annually employs over 700 individuals. ADP supplies over 450 HVAC distributors at more than 4,000 points of distribution throughout North America. ADP is now the #1 producer of residential evaporator coils in the USA.

Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

As a Business Analyst, you will formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable Business Systems and industry requirements.

Devise or modify procedures to solve problems considering system capacity, limitations, and desired results. Performs business analysis of systems and follows through the full development life cycle.
Define detailed requirements, analyzing business needs and validating solutions with the client.
Evaluate requirements documented by others and include the conceptualization, development and implementation of complex systems.
Responsible for achieving operational status within required time parameters and with acceptable operating performance.
Define systems objectives and prepares system design specifications to meet user requirements and satisfy interface problems.
Communicating effectively with both end users and IT staff.
Formulate logical statements of user requirements and develops solutions involving data processing systems of an electronic or manual nature through application of systems and methods engineering techniques.
Analyze alternative means of deriving input data to select the most accurate, feasible and economical methods.
Defines controls, conversion procedures and system implementation plans including user training and orientation
Testing coordination of transports to production and post go live support.

This job also needs to support to the local facility's technology infrastructure and to provide technical support to all areas of the business. This position assists the Supervisor in performing infrastructure maintenance, responding to help desk calls and tickets, and providing IT coverage for a designated shift for the manufacturing operations. Other responsibilities include managing the PM (preventive maintenance) schedule for the shop floor IT equipment and maintaining the inventory of spare equipment.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

4-year degree in computer science, engineering, or another STEM field or equivalent experience
2+ years hands-on experience in an SQL Server development, ETL experience with complicated SSIS Package coding and maintenance.
Skills required are SQL, Visual Basic, .NET.
Visualization tools Qlik / Power BI.
1+ years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
In-depth understanding of SQL Server database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) methodologies.
Understanding and experience working with various development tools, design standards, best practices, and architecture frameworks
Knowledge of Agile methodology
Experience in the IT development roles is a plus.
Strong Microsoft Office skills; including advanced Excel skills.
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs.
Understanding of integration between SAP Modules, and willingness to learn in other areas of SAP / Sales force.
Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and attention to detail
Possess positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This role is designated 100% On-site.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $54,000k - $71,400k and will be based on the candidate's qualification, experience, and education.
