Role & responsibilities:

Technical/Functional Skills

1) Hands on to deal with multi-tenant / complex migration projects. 2) End-End solutioning expert of OS, Storage, Database.

3) Data Move( Flat files) Planning and Execution Strategies

4) Expert knowledge of installation and configurations RHEL Linux VM

5) Hands on Performance tuning at RHEL Linux & Application Layer.

6) Best Practices of Security Implementations at RHEL Linux & Application Layer Like (AD, LDAP Integration, SSO) etc & Encryption, Certificates.

7) Hands on Print, Terminal Servers, Drivers Installation and Configurations.

Experience Required

Must-Have

Hands on OS Migration (Solaris to Linux)

Hands on production support of migration projects

Hands on scripting knowledge

knowledge of Rocket Universe & Migration

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for configuring the new RHEL system in Dev/Test and Prod regions,
• Migrating the existing application hosted on Sun Solaris to the new RHEL Cloud environment.
• Work collaboratively with clients and Product Vendor teams
• Align with Network, Infrastructure and Unix admin groups to raise required change requests
• Mentor offshore resources,
• Own the Overall migration, OS upgrade, implementation plan, Dev Test roll out and production rollout
