THE ROLE: In the role of Sr. AnalystBusiness Systems, this person will be a dynamic and experienced individual with a proven track record of collaborating with business partners, understanding business requirements, translating business requirements into system requirements, and making recommendations regarding system functionality. Under the direction of Sr. Manager, Engineering Solutions provides application administration, development, implementation, and ongoing support services for Xylem’s Engineering Systems, primarily PTC Creo, PTC Windchill, and Sigmaxim suite of tools.  This role focuses on projects frequently involving enterprise-wide or cross-divisional scope.  Acting as a subject matter expert, provides technical leadership, management, business process, and technical expertise for the planning, coordination, design, development, deployment, and ongoing support of Xylem’s Engineering Systems environment.  Consult with and advise Xylem’s process owners and take responsibility for tasks and continued support.  We offer a full benefits package to include Flexible Time Off (FTO) for salaried positions, health, dental, vision, investment savings plans, and additional miscellaneous benefits.    

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:  To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   

• Ownership and responsibility for specific Engineering Systems related applications.  This includes process design, implementation, development, programming, site administration, and ongoing support and issue resolution for Sigmaxim SmartAssy, SmartDesignServer (SDS), and Front-End platform, and related use of PTC Windchill (Xylem Global Vault) platform as well as PTC Creo Suite of Tools (over 90 modules) with a specific focus on Creo Parametric.
• Understand complex systems and business process analysis to automate PTC Creo using Sigmaxim’s Suite unique automation tools to significantly improve productivity.
• Architecture, application design, and programming using Sigmaxim SmartAssy’s programming language (similar to Visual Basic).
• Application design, programming using Sigmaxim SmartDesignServer’s programming language, deployment, and architecture.
• Web-based application design, programming using Sigmaxim Front-end programming language, deployment, and architecture.
• Support the planning and implementing new builds and releases of PTC Creo and Sigmaxim SmartAssy, SDS, and Front-End.
• Responsible for the administration and maintenance of these applications.
• Lead in developing, implementing, and maintaining service level agreements and recommending improvements.
• Provide ongoing support to the user community and help resolve local issues pertaining to standard policies, procedures, process best practices, and/or standard tools.
• This is achieved through working with virtual teams, consultants and/or external resources.
• Supports projects and teams related to Engineering Systems applications.
• Provide enterprise-wide administration and support of Engineering Systems applications.
• Provide remote and hands-on Creo and Sigmaxim training as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in MIS or CS preferred, or relevant concentration, with three years of experience; or a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Graduate Degree (Master) in MIS or CS preferred, or relevant concentration, with 1-2 years of experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the product engineering area working with processes and systems.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in using, implementing, configuring, testing, and administering PTC Creo Parametric.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in using, implementing, configuring, testing, and administering Sigmaxim SmartAssembly, System Design Server, or Creo automation.
• Three (3) or more years of experience using PTC Windchill.
• Two (2) or more years using a programming language such as Visual Basic or C++.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate technology concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
• English language fluency

DAY IN THE LIFE:

In this role, the working environment is generally in an office setting and may be performed remotely.  The physical demands may include but are not limited to moving around in an office environment, frequent oral communication, close vision, and the ability to operate office equipment.  In addition, this role may include approximately 10% or less.

SALARY:

The estimated salary range at this professional level is $79,000 to $135,000 plus bonus.   Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, Wellness programs, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
