Compensation and Benefits:
The Hiring Range for this position is 15.91 per hour.
Work Schedule:
Remote work, maximum of 20 hours per week.
Primary Duties/Brief Description of Work:
The City of Greensboro is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented roster to join our People and Culture, Organizational, Effectiveness, and Development Division. In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of courses and curriculums within our Learning Management System (LMS). This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in Learning Management Systems Administration.
"Minimum Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and familiarity with common e-learning platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple courses simultaneously.
- Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with a Learning Management System, designing online learning content, and knowledge of adult learning principles.
