SalaryAs Surgical Scheduling Coordinator you will be responsible for pricing surgical procedures, meeting with consultations, and scheduling surgeries for 3 providers. You will also be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office/ surgery center. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
Responsibilities
- Maintains medical records
- Acts as liaison between the physician and the patient
- Coordinates pricing proposal for surgical procedures and meets with patients to review
- Oversees surgical schedule
- Schedules patient appointments and surgeries
- Provides education on surgical experience from start to finish
- Answers phones
Skills
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Able to work under pressure in fast paced environment
- Experience working in medical office preferred
- Plastic Surgery or MedSpa Experience Strongly Preferred
