Responsibilities:
- Schedule surgeries and procedures for patients
- Coordinate with medical staff, surgeons, and patients to ensure smooth scheduling process
- Obtain necessary authorizations and insurance verification for procedures
- Communicate with patients regarding pre-operative instructions and any necessary preparations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical administrative support role is preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and scheduling software
- Knowledge of dental or medical office procedures and terminology
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
