Supply Chain Specialist

We are looking for:
A Supply Chain Specialist that will be responsible for processing domestic orders and arranging logistics for orders shipping from the Syensqo Specialty Polymers Marietta Plant's 3PL warehouse to all NAFTA customers and warehouses. Coordinates and maintains movement of material and work instructions between the Syensqo Marietta plant and contracted Tolling facilities.  

We count on you for: 

• Processes domestic customer orders entered by CSR's in Front Office and routes to 3PL contract warehouse. 
• Monitor "dispatch list" in SAP to verify order information accuracy such as shipping point, shipping conditions, carrier assignment and route codes.
• Work with transportation providers to troubleshoot logistics issues within NAFTA lanes to ensure on-time delivery.
• Responsible for troubleshooting all "problem orders" to timely resolve and ensure best effort to achieve on-time delivery of the order.   Communicate and document ship delays when on-time delivery is not possible.
• Process "Special Shipping Orders" manually outside of SAP for miscellaneous materials shipping from the plant.
• Issue processing instructions, schedule and coordinate shipment of finished goods, raw materials and packaging materials to various Syensqo Tollers to conduct post-processing or Compound manufacturing per established contracts and P.O.'s.
• Process all required transactions in SAP in a timely and accurate manner to capture outbound / inbound stock transfers to / from our Tollers, goods receipts and production / consumption for all of the various Tolling activities.
• Create requisitions to execute Purchase Orders for each Toller covering various tolling activities and pricing
•  Process Work Cycles to ensure prompt payment per P.O. terms and conditions.
• Work closely with Tollers to troubleshoot and provide support for system issues.

You will bring: 

• High school Diploma, Associate's degree in a business-related field is preferred
• SAP experience is preferred
• Supply Chain experience is a must
• Strong problem solving, analytical and conceptual thinking skills needed
•  Strong customer care aptitude needed
•  Ability to work with cross functional teams needed
• Strong oral / written communication skills
• Variety of computer skills needed including Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management systems, Microsoft Office, and ERP system 

You will get:

• Competitive salary and benefits package
• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $45,000 to $70,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
