- Driving Results: Improving vendor output, improving lead time and reducing cost.
- Taking Ownership: Identifying how Supply Chain improvements can positively impact the success of Cirkul.
- Making Decisions: Assessing the situation, developing a strategy, and executing quickly.
- Cultivating Relationships: Consistently developing and leveraging strong internal and external relationships.
- Instilling Trust: Consistent and dependable execution.
- Customer Focus: Improving our product, improving our landed cost, and bringing new products to market faster.
- International sourcing experience in China with a focus on plastic and metal components, navigating fast timelines, integrating with engineering to understand product details.
- Negotiating with suppliers on cost and production plans to meet supply commitments.
- Manage new product, parts, tooling and equipment capacity ramp up plans.
- Develop supply plans to optimize supplier allocations based on comprehensive audits of capacity, performance, and pricing.
- Identify cost down opportunities, develop detailed business cases, and execute to proposed plans.
- Provide frequent and concise updates to internal stakeholders on Supply Chain health.
- Initiate and complete vendor selection to ensure their ability to meet part performance and on time delivery for new products
- Lead the supplier selection process with inputs from cross functional teams.
- Develop quarterly supplier performance metrics, KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Manage, mentor and develop the growing Supply Chain team.
- 5-8 years of experience in a Supply Chain role with experience leading a team.
- Ability to balance detailed analysis with strategic planning.
- Experience negotiating and holding suppliers accountable.
- Tenacious problem solving skills and excellent communication.
