Reporting to the Vice President Technical Services, the Manager of Supply Chain is responsible for providing leadership to the team along with the management of all procurement activities for the company. The Manager of Supply Chain will ensure that Supply Chain capabilities continuously evolve to meet business priorities, delivering cost targets and meeting service level expectations.
Position Responsibilities
PEOPLE LEADERSHIP:

- Provide coaching and training and build a strong technical team proficient in JDE and end to end Supply Chain concepts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement sourcing/procurement strategies to support corporate objectives, providing a competitive advantage in the areas of materials, supplies and services.
- Negotiate supplier agreements to meet company specifications and price requirements.
- Manage and optimize supplier performance, including continuous improvement, innovations, obsolescence, and reduction in total cost of ownership.
- Implement and maintain supplier and depot procurement policies and procedures.
- Ensure critical Key Performance Indicators are measured and met.
- Maintain relationships with cross functional areas such as Operations, A/P, AR, HR, Legal, Logistics and IT
- GL account analysis with the ability to analyze data and make data driven decisions.
- Management of Supply Chain planning and forecasting
- Implement preventive measures to correct any issues related to purchase order issuance, receiving, billing, price variances or vendor problems.
- Identify and anticipate internal and external Supply Chain initiatives and requirements and implement in a timely manner.
- Optimize the use of procurement resources to successfully meet cost saving initiatives of the company.
- In depth understanding of the End-to-End Supply Chain flow and interdependencies across functions
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS in Operations, Finance, Business, Engineering or comparable
- Minimum 5 years of business management experience in Supply Chain
- Advanced knowledge of procurement principles, theories, and processes
- Demonstrated superior negotiation skills and the proven ability to train and develop organizational capability in this skill.
- Experience in building effective collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Experience managing a P&L, developing financial forecasts and annual operating plans
- Sound business acumen with the ability to quickly understand business priorities and operations.
- Excellent written and verbal skills to ensure that vision, direction, and requirements are clearly and consistently communicated both internally and externally.
- JDE inventory and purchasing experience preferred.
