The Billing Analystwill be responsible for identifying, validating, and interpreting trends in large data sets related to defined workflows as well as effectively communicating proposed solutions to management.

In this role, the successful candidate will dig into problems, and concisely deliver a data/metric backed story with proposed solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze hospital and or clinic claims, denials and payer trends
• Assist with daily/weekly R1 claims assistance logs
• Help manage SOP’s and workflows for associates
• Data and root cause analysis for trending and KPI management assistance
• Claim testing and claim rule review
• Report creation and management of databases for daily/weekly/monthly reporting

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• 2+ years of data analytics experience
• Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint required
• Prior experience in hospital billing or revenue cycle preferred
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
• Self-starter who is eager to learn, and can work both independently and in a team environment.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment with internal stakeholders.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $46,971.35 - $74,607.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
