Job Location: Locust Grove, GA

This position is open to relocation assistance.

Supply Chain Analyst 3 will be based on Locust Grove, GA and will be working with the Cottage Grove, MN team. Until the new facility is occupied in late 2024, this person selected for this position will have approximately 20-30% travel to Cottage Grove, MN.

SUMMARY :

This Supply Chain Planning Analyst will be the technical planning expert and coach as we start up our newest manufacturing facility in Locust Grove, Georgia. This position will be responsible for learning our planning processes and systems and teaching and supporting our Supply Chain planning teams through our start up, ramp and growth. This role will be responsible for driving continuous improvement to our business processes and technology to drive value for our team.

The person selected for this role will need to travel to our facility in Minnesota several times to train and to build an internal network.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Driving business value through effective deployment of our Supply Chain planning processes, technology and team.
  • Serving the Supply Chain planning team as the local subject matter expert on planning processes and technology. This position will require detailed understanding of information and material flow from order entry to customer delivery.
  • Function as liaison between the IT team and the user community.
  • Analyze, develop recommendations, and lead implementation of continuous improvements to business tools and processes, utilizing Supply Chain and lean tools such as Kanban, 5Y, Plan-Do-Check-Act, value stream mapping and A3 thinking
  • Perform analytics to determine how to best resolve constraints to balance service, inventory and cost; and reviews data to ensure successful implementation and interface with other functions and system
  • Coach others on understanding, analyzing, and interpreting data and information, and use of Supply Chain tools. Coaches and trains others with less experience.

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent experience. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred.
  • 6-8 years combined experience in Sourcing, Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Planning
  • Master knowledge of relevant Supply Chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Executions Systems, Warehouse Management systems

· Demonstrates competency to coach others in ERP systems, data mining and data reporting. Expert mastery of data mapping and data validation techniques. Able to extract, analyze, and summarize data.

· Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to coach others on lean tools including Pull, 5Y, PDCA, kaizen facilitation, A3 thinking, waste elimination

· Builds strong working relationships with internal and/or external customers

· Strong facilitation skills

· Is self-sufficient and motivated to take action and grow and develop

· Provides peer-to-peer coaching and developmental feedback to others

· Experience with change management strategies and processes required to support an organization through change

· Proven technical leader who creates energy, lives integrity, leads change, creates a vision and plans, inspires people to achieve goals, develops people and delivers results.

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS :

· Previous success in ERP implementations

· Previous success in a greenfield manufacturing start up

· Previous success in a high-volume, high-variety just-in-time manufacturing environment

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
