This position is located in Field Operations Directorate, Office of Field Operations, DISTRICT 24.
As an Supervisory Operations Support Specialist, you will oversee Operations Support Specialists who provide technical assistance to district and field managers and staff on a wide variety of administrative functions in support of the USCIS mission.Qualifications: The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/05/2024.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/05/2024.
GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
- Managing and providing technical advice on at least one of the following mission support programs: human resources management or budget and financial management;- Evaluating and improving operational support program services and processes;
- Researching and writing reports and providing recommendations that provide authoritative guidance on complex mission support program issues; and
- Providing guidance and collaborating with colleagues throughout all levels of the directorate and agency to resolve problems pertaining to administrative and multi-programmatic concerns and projects.
