Scope: The Operations Support Specialist role is primarily responsible for administrative duties including Group configuration, special projects, and operations related support functions.
Duties and Responsibilities; inclusive of, but not limited to:
- Maintain an understanding of MedWatch products and services, and objectives.
- Resource for team setting up New Groups.
- Review New Group setups in MedWatch system with efficiency and accuracy.
- Understand and facilitate group renewals.
- Assist in preparation and distribution of fee schedules.
- Audit monthly renewals for accuracy, and timely distribution.
- Special Projects
- Communicate with clients and internal staff via telephonic and email communications.
- Resource for accounting assisting in resolving outstanding invoice issues.
- Work in a team environment to knowledge share and follow standard processes.
- Maintain an understanding of standard MedWatch reporting.
- Provides additional administrative support to the organization for various tasks and projects.
- Provide support to other areas of the Company as requested or assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications; Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to learn and utilize internal applications.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Awareness of internal and external customer needs.
- Knowledge of insurance, self-funded, and stop loss industry.
- Self-motivated, and ability to see projects through to execution.
- Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual; English and Spanish is a plus.
