This position is located at Departmental Offices, Management CFO- Info Systems and CIO. As a Supervisory IT Specialist (INFOSEC), you will serve as a subject matter expert on matters pertaining to information systems security engineering, network security engineering, and telecommunications security engineering, ICAM security engineering, and cloud infrastructure security engineering.
Qualifications:You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.Specialized experience for the GS-15: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service, public or other private sectors. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following:
- Developing, defining, managing and documenting cyber projects; AND
- Using project management tools and skills to develop and manage in-depth cybersecurity projects plans; AND
- Applying Federal information systems security protocols to integrate information systems security with other security disciplines; AND
- Developing, implementing and interpreting metrics for the evaluation of cybersecurity program effectiveness and efficiency
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed
