Job DescriptionOverview/Purpose:
The Supervisor, Inventory Control & Verification (ICV) provides direct supervision for the Inventory Control & Verification Team and is responsible for overall execution of material movements and material storage within the factory/warehouse. This supervisor performs regular and as-directed verification tasks to ensure that all variances are documented and accounted-for and oversees the site cycle count process including the weekly verification checklist. The ICV Supervisor collaborates with all departments to ensure that proper Inventory Control procedures are in-place and being sustained in accordance with site and company KPI’s as well as 3rd party verification standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Directs all daily activities of Inventory Control and Verification department employees and provides direct supervision including payroll, performance management, coaching and corrective action.
- Monitors all site inventory transactions for accuracy, reports variances, and collaborates with department leadership on investigation and corrective action plans.
- Oversees accurate documentation of damaged/destroyed goods prior to their systematic and physical removal from inventory.
- Collaborates with the warehouse and ICV teams to maintain inventory FEFO attainment goals.
- Collaborates with production and QC leadership on variance investigation and CAPA.
- Reports on production schedule variances
- Collaborates with senior leadership to create, implement, and maintain policy/procedures that ensure proper internal and external customer service levels.
- Supports inventory shelf-life extensions by overseeing related inventory transactions.
- Responsible to maintain department SOP’s/SWI’s and update as needed when processes change.
- Utilizes KPIs and attainment tracking to monitor plant accuracy and cycle count completion to ensure compliance and meet corporate obligations.
- Proactively promotes inter-departmental communications for the betterment of the staff and company.
- Selects, develops, and retains an empowered team that delivers on Inventory Management goals consistently and is focused on the continuous improvement of the department, the plant, and the business.
- Maintains compliance with all regulations; Chemical safety, Quality, Regulatory (i.e., OSHA/FDA/EPA/DOT) and employee safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Job-Specific Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
- Minimum 3 of those years in a warehouse or distribution center environment
- Minimum 2 years of experience with inventory transactions, variance reporting, and cycle-count programs
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with WMS and RF equipment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a multi-site environment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Computer skills are essential for transactions and reporting (WMS, MS Office Suite, MS Outlook)
- Basic math and accounting skills are critical to this role
- Accuracy and attention to detail is critical to this role.

- Supervises a team of hourly non-exempt personnel and exempt Inventory Control planner (remote) which includes attendance/payroll, performance management, and corrective action.
- Works cross-functionally with other department Supervisors to ensure appropriate execution in the areas of Shipping, Receiving, Material Movement, Storage, Quality Holds, and Inventory Control.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (i.e., Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management) or related area is highly desirable, but not required
- Prior experience using an Inventory Control system
- Proven ability to use basic mathematical skills
- Strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail is critical in this role
