Salem, Oregon based Commercial General Contractor seeking Superintendent. The company has been located in Salem for 23 years with an exceptional reputation for quality. We specialize in tenant improvements and new construction with a focus on educational facilities, restaurants, retail/office space and multi-family projects. Job Duties: Become familiar with the project’s plans, specifications and schedule. Coordinate and oversee site construction. Schedule inspections. Supervision of crews and subcontractors. Effectively communicate any job site/project issues with company owner. Coordinate with accounting for new subcontractor onboarding and compliance. Ensure quality standards are meet. Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance and cleanliness. Other duties as assigned. Experience: Pre-Construction General Construction Tenant Improvements Specifications Submittals Request for Information Construction Documentation Shop Drawings Inspections Scheduling Qualifications: 2 years commercial Superintendent experience Completion of two tenant improvement projects as Superintendent that were 20,000 sf or more. Experience with multi-family projects, three stories plus. Computer literate (Email, MS Office). Knowledge of scheduling software is a plus. Excellent organizational skills. First aid certification. Must have a valid driver’s license. No nicotine products allowed on the job site or in company vehicles. Reliable transportation to and from work. May be subject to a background check.
