Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Student Success Lead (Trainer) for a contract role in New York, NY. Candidates must have experience with creation and facilitation of training, as well as supervising workers.
Candidates must be local as this is an onsite role.
Hourly pay range of $30.00 to $35.00 per hour. Hourly rate may be negotiable based upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
In the Student Success Lead (Trainer) role, your responsibilities will include:
· 50% - Development of training content (documents, slideshows, short form videos, images, etc.) on Brightspace LMS, as well as delivery of training to student workers.
· 30% - Supervising delivery of Student Technology Center (STC) services to ensure consistent end-user experiences. Alerting appropriate parties on service outages, facility, or infrastructure services, ensuring it meets deadlines and expectations.
· 20% - Collecting and analyzing client feedback on STC services, working with STC team to implement service changes to maintain quality of services, supporting operations administrator in executing operational and facilities needs of the STCs.
Skills / Experience required for the Student Success Lead (Trainer) role:
· Ability to work onsite 12 pm (noon) to 8 pm, Monday to Friday
· Bachelor’s degree
· 2 years working in higher education and experience working with students.
· Experience creating training content and facilitating training.
· Strong customer service experience
· Experience supervising student workers, conflict management/resolution.
· Ability to use different models for training (stand-up, video, gifs, etc.)
· Experience with Adobe Suite or Canva
· Experience with one of more of the following tools: Google Suite, Presentation Tools (Prezi, Keynote, PowerPoint), Design Tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite), Zoom for Streaming and recording video and screen capture, Web Publishing (WordPress, Wiki’s)
