What Is An LRAP? – A Loan Repayment Assistance Program helps students and families deal with the burden of student loan debt by reimbursing them for their loan payments after graduation. Position Summary
The Student Service Coordinator/Claims Processor provides excellent customer service to students and families benefiting from LRAP. This position will be responsible for supporting students who qualify for assistance under one of the Loan Repayment Assistance Programs that Ardeo administers, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing of LRAP claims.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
· Provide support to students and families by processing and administering their loan repayment assistance requests, setting up accounts, and helping them navigate the student loan repayment process.
- Review all documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Calculate appropriate repayment amounts based on LRAP program terms.
- Ensure timely submission of payment information to client for claims payment.
· Provide excellent customer experience when contacting students or responding to inquiries through phone conversations and email correspondence.
· Serve as a resource for students and parents while answering questions about the LRAP assistance process.
· Assist manager with creating standard operating procedures, reports and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking.
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Proficient in Excel and Email application usage
- Strong problem solving skills
- Proficient in math and basic analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-directed, able to work independently
Preferred requirements
- Experience in the Higher Education field, in either a financial aid or admissions role
- Proficient using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, such as Salesforce
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes both base salary and a Team Bonus opportunity.
