Responsibilities- Provides direct support for student organization, Student Engagement, organization registration, and programming. Through all programming this position focuses on enhancing the campus environment.
- Develops and implements the student organization registration processes, organization and advisor training, creating purposeful programming, training, community building activities, and assessments for staff and student leaders.
- Supervises one Graduate Assistant and up to two Graduate interns, providing support and overall vision of inclusive student experiences and engagement. Develops and advises Involvement Ambassadors in their year-long leadership roles. Attends meetings and events, meets one-on-one with student leaders, and provides guidance and support. Coordinates student leader and volunteer on-boarding, training, development, and transition.
- Establishes and maintains working relationships with students, campus partners, and key stakeholders to ensure the mission, standards, goals, and objectives are met. Collaborates regularly with Campus Event Services to uphold event policies and procedures.
- Attends department sponsored programs and events, establishes connections with students, supports financial literacy, freedom of expression, university policies and procedures, and has an overall knowledge of Student Engagement. Participates in the Engagement Team and DSA initiatives, programs, and events to craft and support a vibrant student experience and build community. Support signature events for the department and division, creating and supporting tradition building activities for a vibrant student experience.
A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

- Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
- Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.
- Knowledge of Student Programs and activities.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of Student Program planning, development, and evaluation.
- Ability to utilize conflict resolution skills.
