Essential Job Duties:Supporting with the overall coordination, including logistics, administration, planning professional development and evaluation of the summer internships for the Center for Environmental Farming Systems.
Specific duties include:
- Internship recruiting
- Planning and coordinating logistics or professional development
- Tracking and documenting activities
- Assist with paying farmers
- Support interns with day to day activities as needed

- Enthusiasm for local foods and a respect for farmers and producers from diverse rural communities
- Must be strong communication skills with experience in agriculture education
- Have participated in one of CEFS internships in the past
- A resident of NC and ideally in the Triangle
- Experience with technology and online platforms
- Self-motivated
- Knowledge of, or experience working with agriculture students
- Personal laptop use preferred
- Valid driver’s license
