General Summary The Student Intern - Telecommunications will assist the team in providing technical assistance with the daily operations of the organization's microwave network, SCADA network and mobile radio network.
Essential Functions Operate and repair WSSC Water microwave, SCADA and mobile radio systems
Install, repair, and maintain base stations, antennae, radio, and electronic equipment in or on all types of vehicles and structures
Perform radio frequency compliance checks as required by the FCC
Other Functions Perform other duties as required.
Work Environment And Physical Demands Work in office and field setting.
Coursework in electronics, radio communications, power systems designs.
Minimum Education, Experience Requirements 2+ years of college in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
Proficient in using MS Office applications
Preferences Some experience with electronics and radio communications is helpful
