SalaryThe Applications Developer Student Intern will assist with building new applications, automating repetitive tasks, supporting database operations, working with document management solutions and enhancing existing applications.
Essential Functions
- Assists IT staff by provide technical support to Commission staff
- Ability to assist staff in developing and maintain applications and databases
- Ability to work within a cross disciplinary team on IT projects
- Ability to research COTS products and recommend solutions· Participate in project meetings on tech brainstorming, status, requirements gathering and analysis, etc.
Other Functions
- Uses programming languages (Python, JavaScript, frameworks JAVA, JSP, Swift, Android) to build applications
- Knowledge in computer, database, and IT applications
- Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Software and oracle database experience helpful

Minimum Education, Experience Requirements
- Completion of at least 2 years of college
- Coursework or experience in information system, Information technology, computer science
