The Program Director shall be one of the following: Occupational Therapist, Psychiatric Technician, Licensed Psychologist, Recreation Therapist, Licensed Social Worker, Art Therapist, Dance Therapist or Music Therapist with Behavioral Healthcare experience.
Gramercy Court, a Generations Healthcare facility, is looking to hire an STP Program Director to join our team in our 36-bed secured special treatment program unit for behavioral residents. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the program, including program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide leadership and supervision to program staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to coordinate services and ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Monitor program outcomes and make necessary adjustments to ensure program effectiveness and client satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in the field of Behavioral Health and apply them to program development and service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Must have one of the following: Occupational Therapist, Psychiatric Technician, Licensed Psychologist, Recreation Therapist, Licensed Social Worker, Art Therapist, Dance Therapist or Music Therapist with Behavioral Healthcare experience.
- Must have at least two years of experience or training in a mental health setting, one year of which shall include experience or training in program development for mentally disordered.
- Proven experience in program management, particularly in the Behavioral Health field.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or Behavioral Health needs.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in the field of Behavioral Health.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with managing a team and proven leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
